NES A/V Mod

Post by dankicksass »

It is my understanding that there is a mod for the front-loading NES where one can take the five pins and ground that commonly lead to the RF box and achieve a standard A/V connection without the box, plus power-in. My RF box is pretty much destroyed from removal, so tracing the routes is pretty much out of the question for my board. I cannot find the procedure for the A/V mod on the forum or on the better NES sites, but I know it has been done. Can anyone help me?
I don't like forum signatures.

Here is a link to the video mod, the audio can be taken right off the board. Looking at the top of the board the video pin is 1 (one closest to the cart.) Audio is pin 2 and Power (5+) is pin 3 (midde pin). Pins 4 and 5 are not used. Good Luck!
Dude, it's Duck Hunt.
