HEy, just curious if it is a good idea to wire 4 of the same speaker the PSOne LCD uses for sound instead of 2?? Just 2 speakers vertically on the side of the board, and 2 where they originally belong. I'm making a frankencase out of a Black DVD case and would like to know if i would need an additional amp or would it just use more power? These are obvious questions, just needing some OOMPF on my thoughts. You'll see what i mean.

hmmm....well, perhaps you could get 4 4 ohm speakers, and wiring them in series to get two sets of 8 ohms
. the amperage rating on them would probably have to be the same. now, I'm not sure this would work, but it's worth a shot
.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

No, it just gives you more cone space, and splits wattage in half. Instead of the entire 1 watt going to each speaker, you would now have 1/2 watt to each speaker. Absolutley no gainw hat so ever. In the car audio world where i come from, this would be good for, let's say, two 10" subs, but not a 1 watt LCD monitor amp or speakers... It's worthless.
