I reccomend Li-ions. Once you own and use a pair you will NEVER go back.

I've battery powered a wii, in all different ways. Li-ion is the best.

what is the lifetime of Li-Ions compared to NiMH? I Heard 5 Years and like 500 charges and depletions before you start seeing significant battery ...

The only (safe) way you could do it is if you also wired a SPDT switch to the console ground and controller grounds (or any other of the controller wires, but switching ground is kind of tradition).

2 controller ports for 1 player? GCN

would it be possible to solder 2 gamecube controller ports to the same port? so basically have it so there can be 2 controllers controlling 1 player?

i know. wierd question. just bare with me and tell me if its possible haha.

so i was wondering, is it possible to use an SD as a memory "upgrade" for my Gamecube memory card? i mean it is basically just a modified version of one (hence the easy making of SD card readers)

but with all the guides for such memory card to SD card readers. i cant find one that keeps the memory ...

From what I always understood the sliders are basicly potentiometers....you can find out their resistance when fully pressed. Then simply wire a button an d a resistor of that value in it's place.

is there a way around the L and R slider switches? they are an insane pain in the arse.

ive heard a rumor that the Gamestop micro controller does not use them. any references? thanks!

The regular Gamestop controller uses slider switches with buttons at the bottom end.

The headphone pins are in the Psone screen faq. (looking at the bottom of the headphone jack) the left pin is left audio, right pin is right audio, and the pin closest to the jack is ground. At least, that's what it is for all of my other headphone jacks.


what about HP switch? thats what i need ...

after carefully studying the small board. i cant figure it out...they seem to go nowhere...can someone help?

i just need to know what pin connects to HP L what to HP R and which to HP switch.

i remember seeing a guide on here or a VERY similar forum, but i cant locate it anymore.

Follow the leads from the pins on the tiny board back to the cable between the screen and the tiny board, follow that cable, and then solder to the pins the wires are soldered to.

that would work...but is there a guide or anything? it would be a lot easier if someone had a pic and just said ...

relocating headphone jack [answer found! (link inside)]

so i desoldered the headphone jack from the board. and i want to connect it back with my wires to place it anywhere. but i want to wire it directly to the PSone screen MBO instead of the little board it was on. any tips?

(if im not specific enough, let me know. ill try to explain better)

i get around 35-39c but i did change the fan. never measured the original one....im guessing ur right with the about 50c (cause of position guessing)
