Yes, the potentiometers are the only way to adjust the color.

Composite Video mod (old method)

Hello. A couple years ago I put together the composite video mod on my 2600 using Ben's old method. It worked, but I couldn't get the colors on the screen quite right. I decided to give it a try again tonight, but I can't even come close while using Pitfall. From looking at a screenshot, the top ...

It's also known as "Desoldering braid". It comes on a spool, you place it over what you want to desolder, hit it with the iron, and it sucks the solder into it.

Ah, brings me back to Saturday, September 4, 2004. I spent the sunny afternoon desoldering the connectors from a Game Genie and a ...

Haha- you're right! Thanks again. I'll probably just leave it alone other than having to repair the damn second controller which has snapped off. I'll just have to hook it up through my VCR.

Thanks bicostp, but that's actually an INTV 2. The reason I would like composite video is that the picture is much sharper than RF which always gets extra noise crap. Also, I much prefer the Intellivision 1, because it's simply built much more nicely than the INTV 2. But if it's too hard or can't be ...

Intellivision - Please help

Hi all, I just remembered my username and password, so, I'm back. Last night, I picked up an Intellivision 1 and an Intellivision II with the Intellivoice, 20 games, the overlays, and manuals. Now I have some work to do: composite video. I found a schematic for the INTV II, but is there a way to get ...

Famiclone with interesting games

I was at the mall tonight to pick up The Adventures of Pete And Pete Season 1 and Chappelle's Show Season 2 and I decided to stop by the Famiclone stand. This time they were selling a new model, with some non-crappy games. The ones I can remember are Super C, a Keroppi game, and Street Fighter II ...

Yeah, after many years, nobody has figured out a way to use the Game Gear screen. Also, I had a Master Gear, which I unfortunately destroyed trying to make it into something else. SMS games look horrible on Game Gear.

I saw a picture of it. Basically it looks like a big ring you stand in with sensors on it. The only game I know of that works with it is Mortal Kombat II. It looks like it's really stupid. I wasn't aware of that stuff when I was young because I played Nintendo games.

There is absolutely no doubt that thing is pirate. Titus the Fox, Son Son? Those were games on other systems. Pirates always train games to start on other levels.

That's 1990. Unfortunately, we can't find Master System IIs around here in America. The SMS 1 is superior because of the card input, but you sure as hell cant make a portable out of it. I do have a Japanese SMS with the FM chip though.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that the glop tops were on those chips! Now, does anyone know if I need a specific NES cartridge with which to use these? Because I am very unfamiliar with Color Dreams stuff and have heard that certain mappers use certain PCBs. Or, can I simply use an old Super Mario Bros ...

I really like your idea! Therefore, I am going to copy it!

I have my 12-year old Game Boy that no longer works (even if it did, it has many rows of dead pixels). I also have a Super Joy that I find completely useless! I bought it in July 2003, played with it for one night, and put it away ever ...

Which model SMS are you using? I'm assuming it's not the original.
