I'd like to ideally mod it to take Scart connections. How would I set about doing this? (My HVC book's on order :P)

PSone Screen - Other Uses?

Not to boast, but I just picked up a screen for exactly TEN big ones. 8) So I was wondering: We can obviously rig up these PSone screens for portable systems, but would it be possible to rig them up for other uses? How about converting the AV port to a Scart slot and using it as a multifunctional ...

Hopefully I haven't broken the tv then. :(

Come on people, help a guy out!

The plan is to start by making an Exodus with your help, then buy the book and make, in order, a NESp, SNESp, PSp and PS2p. And then, under my own steam, a GCp. It's a year-plan. :P

Yes, but so far the knowledge has been too advance for me. Like I said, I am a COMPLETE beginner - it just took me 15 minutes to resolder one wire. I need to be told FROM SCRATCH. :P

Not too keen on importing though - but this one REALLY needs it. Wel'll see.

Noob Attack! XD

Yeah, it's me again. But this time I'm in business!

I've got a Mega Drive, a handheld TV (Broken but screen is intact) and a radica, along with soldering iron, desoldering pump, screwdrivers, etc etc etc. Now, I am an absolute ULTRA NOOB, and I need to know how to put them together to make a ...

Grey-black-grey-black

Well I used the lastof my cash to buy a NES. Unfortunately, every NES I could find was the kind where it blinked grey to black over and over when you turn it on. I heard there's a way to fix it.

Is there?

I have no idea how to do all that though. Image

I really am an ultra noob, but I'd like to learn. :) One day I'll hopefully be able to build a portable PS2. :D

Radica/Exodus/Thing

Okay, so maybe a SNESp would be too complicated and expensive for a beginner like me. ;) Are there any detailed guides on how to construct an Exodus? I've got a load of the Radica mini-Megadrives.

Come on man, switching the cartridges is the whole point of making a portable system! So you can play said carts on the go!

Get a GP32 if you're lazy.

Ahh... The question that hurts to hear.

YES!

Heh. ;)

Forgive me, I haven't the faintest clue what to do as of yet. I'm just a guy with a screwdriver, a soldering iron and a lot of enthusiasm. :D

Jack: I don't think the Snes Jr was released over here. Hm...

I trust the book will tell of how to ...

Yeah. But the thing is, if I was gonna make a handheld Snes, I'd need to import a MiniSnes while all the rest of the materials would be from the UK. Add to the the fact that the book is apparently written only for the US...would it be safe?

Sorry, I'm new. :(
