The drive just stoped spinning the discs i opened it and loobed the drive and it works kinda now ill have to order a new one and they the PCB board trick

X360 DVD Drive

When replacing the DVD drive in a piece of crap x360 does it have to be the exact same drive in order to keep using xbox live?
If not which do you recomend?

Wow. Lets just say this dpad mod is the greatest thing to happen to my xbox. I can actually play games with the dpad!

I never understand the post office. They deliver my mail at 3 pm, leave me a note saying come pick up my package cause they missed me, I call them, the window closes at 1.

I bought this from RDC and it should be here tomorrow. Gonna play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to see how it plays, will post here to tell lol. Been playing a lot of MK vs DC at a friends and I need to get better.

WOW. I am really thinking about using this. The way this is set up, I wouldn't have to mod the actual console at all, the way i am planning on doing my portable. Just put the circuits in the box with the modded screen and controller and bam presto.

It was my understanding that the actual nes controller only uses 5 of those pins, the other 2 are for light gun. I do not plan to have light gun support.

Idea

I want to build two nesps, that have a switch and an ethernet port. the ethernet port will house the second controller and video and audio. Is it possible to do a slave/master idea here, where one set to slave has the audio and video and second player controller from the first unit?

Lol yeah, this is my old screenname from back in the day. The main problem with this mod is that the 360 pad doesnt have a single ground, it has a ground for every button. So you have to slice up the ground on the classic control.
