Meh, LCDs are cool... I have a 15" LCD for my other computer. But I really don't see the point. CRTs are MUCH cheaper, and their image can be just as crisp as LCDs. They both have advantages and disadvantages, but overall I still like CRTs. Oh, they also have a MUCH better viewing angle.

actually i mostly use hrdx nickname (which has no particular meaning)

you can make an unattended installation (for ex. with nlite) and disable >=64 ram requirement.

Reasons to hate linux and love microsoft:

first of all - Windows 2003!
then a few apps you won't get to play on linux (natively):

foobar2000
media player classic
games
utorrent

hell... a lot of other apps... linux got a big progress last years (2.6 is amazing kernel) - but it's not so well ...

i've got 20-ty year old samsung (21' or like that) and i was quite suprised when metroid echoes worked on it (it uses 60hz refresh rate). my tv is worth around $50.
