Yeah, guitar hero 2 needs digital buttons and analog sticks to be recognized (aka a PS1 controller with analog)

Homemade GH controller

Just showing a controller I made.
Got GH2 recently (it was on sale) and i started playing again and it had better 2 player functionality and I didnt want to play for a new one, so I got a whole heap of crap together.

Body: A gutted PlayStation
Neck: Off cut from my DDR pad
Strummer: Arcade joystick ...

it is a seagate hard drive! I dont know what you mean by ruber jacketted but its a seagate :D There are two types of Seagates.
