Pictures
From the Classic Gaming
Expo 2001
(Note to self - take
digital camera next year. These were taken with an ancient sort of chemicaly
treated paper called "film")
Rob Fulop, cofounder of Imagic and the man behind such
hits as Demon Attack and Sewer Shark, playing Demon Attack on a VCSp! What a
moment! I then told Rob that I thought Night Trap was rather innovative and he
said "Well, it was!"
Jay Miner and Joe Decuir were the lead
creators of the original Atari 2600. Here, Joe Decuir can be seen holding the
latest incarnation of his classic creation. Joe answered such burning
questions as where does H-strobe come from and why the original 2600 was so
heavy. I'd like to thank Joe for discussing such issues with me, I thoroughly
enjoyed talking with him.
And if anyone's wondering, Joe still
owns the Stella bicycle.
Not even David Crane was spared the
wrath of my picture-taking rampage. I, the shorter person, am seen holding the
VCSp Gold in this picture. It was definitely something to meet these guys!
