Who is on a Bowling League?

Post by ValiantVenality »

So who is in one? I am and I had it today because I had to qualify for a tournament (I qualified! YAAA!) I wanted to know because I want to know where you stand and stuff and to see if you are good. (im sure you are since you are in a league) And last season my team and I got first place. And also whats your average? Mines around 155-160. Im only 11 so dont make fun of it.

I am, it's a church based one my parents joined. As I really had nothing better to do and they invited me alone, I joined up to. No a big leauge though, we actually use a small ally, they have 14 lanes. And as for my skill, I bowl an average of 124 this year, thats better then two years ago where my average was 113. Oh and my highest game was 184, but that was because I got 4 strikes in a row, kind of got killed my the presses on the final ball (only 9 pins).

Hey Sparkfist, what kind of ball do you use, fingertip or a regular? And if all you guys dont know what a fingertip ball is, its a ball that you only put your fingertips in the two front holes ,and it curves.

I went bowling with my school a few weeks ago, we took a laine away from everyone else, we through 2 or 3 balls down the laine at once and got a grand score of 200 or something... NEATO!

I did that once with a few friends but the alley we use has a special sensor that brings the pin barrier down as soon as a ball goes through it so one would hit some pins and the next one would either be smashed into the pin barrier with a loud smash or the ball would wedge inbetween the barrier and get stuck until we hit it with another ball.
Meh... So I don't post much?

My ball is called the Shock, it's got a flat finish to it (so it grabs the ally better), and it's a straight ball, meaning I use my middle and ring finger. Oh and it's 15 .lbs

Comparing a ball made to fit me to one's I've used before... no comarison. I'm bowling more consistanly with this thing. The only thing I still have trough time getting the ball in the right spot for a stike... about 2 inches off the center of the center pin.

Thats a little easier for me because when mine curves it curves right into the pocket.

Yep I'm on the school bowling team. I still suck but thats only because I'm learning to curve my ball. So I have ball, shoes, and everything. I like and thats all that matters
