I just spent the last half hour scavanging the PS/2 connectors from an old PC with the intention of using them in a project that needs them, I was hoping to get them installed and test it tonight to see if it would work, then continue with the project tomorrow. Then I realized that I couldn't find any breadboards. I know I have a couple laying around here somewhere, but I can't find them. Guess this means I'm going to have to make a trip to rat shack tomorrow.

A tip: buy a breadboard from allelectronics.com
The ones from RadioShack are exorbitantly overpriced, while the said surplus site is pretty cheap.

I would buy them somewhere other than radioshack, but I'm a bit impatient and want to get this part of the project over with as soon as possible.

Around here that means either paying too much at radioshack for 1 board, or buying a minimum of 50 at a bulk reseller.

If there's a fry's electronics where you live, they sell them WAY cheap. I swear I love that place, I bought 10 rolls of electrical taped (rainbow colored) for 2 bucks!

unfortunately, the closest Fry's is about 400 miles away.

Oof, that sucks. It's a wonder store. Anything you want, is at Fry's.
