help please!!!

Post by Zee100 »

i was geting my nes motherboard ready for portable building when i acidently smashed the long black thing on the player 1 port side of the uselles expansion port. i dont know what it is called but it has 13 leads going into the motherboard, without it the nes just sits there with a solid white screen when you turn it on. almost like when the lockout chip malfunctions exept the screen dosent flash.

is there a way to fix it?
can i still use it for portabilizing?

i will update with pics as soon as i can as i dont think my is description that good.

p.s. if it cannot be fixed does anyone have a broken nes they could rip this thing out of and mail to me.

thanks :(

As far as i can tell its 13 10K resistors. Some one else may want to check that. It should be pretty obvious how to fix it. :D
