Pinhole Cameras!

I just almost finished building my first pinhole camera! It's the Dirkon paper pinhole camera. I still need to poke the pinhole, get a brass fastoner, glue the "lens" and shutter assembly on, and get an empty tube of film. Once I'm done, I'll post some pictures! Has anyone else here made a pinhole camera?

But it works like a real camera, and I personally think it takes better pictures.

There is a hole in the paper that exposes the film to light, so a picture is developed. The is no "camera" in there, it's just a box and a hole (but with engineering).

I've made that exact model. Never got around to testing it tho, mostly because we don't have any film in the house.

I made a simalar working camera. If you get the right negitive or photo paper, whatever you use, be mindful of the exposer time. The photo paper we used took like 2 minutes to fully expose, really sucks.

no, but there was a point in time where i was shooting and processing large amounts of black and white 35mm film.

I like Illford, a lot.

I have several built in oatmeal containers, one made from an old polaroid camera, and a few others. It's cool stuff. I'll have to add a section on my web page or something. It's really lacking in content.

i once made one out of a cardboard box. i didn't have all the chemicals i need to develope color film so it was black and white. it took about 12 minutes to take a picture but they turned out really well
