Hack a leapster?

Hi guys,

My son has one of these (he really doesn't play it too much now that he has access to a gamecube, but now my daughter has started to play with it.)

I started wondering if I could turn his leapster into the version that you can plug into the TV. Then I found out that the games are some sort of flash & started thinking it would be really cool if there was a way to play other non leapster flash type games on this thing. I think it probably isn't possible, but I was curious what you guys thought. Thanks.

unless it has an expansion slot like an NOAC then probly not

I wouldnt call it impossible, but then again I am not sure if it is "powerful" enough to play NES games. They probably have different "processors". Well what I would do, is build something similar to a Super 8, with a noac in it, and something that can plug directly into the cartridge slot.

See I am not sure what I am talking about (with the leapster) but that the way I would try to do it.

If you can find the video output (assuming it's digital), I suppose you could find a good Digital to Analog IC. Here's a few:

Hacking the cart's would be a different thing altogether; there would have to be some sort of compatible pinout in the cart (like USB or serial), otherwise you would have to find a ROM writer (which are pretty expensive).
