iPod Linux

Ok, it was my birthday today and i got an iPod Video. And i was wondering if there is a release of iPod Linux COMPATIBLE with iPod Video. I'm technically thinking that the Nano or Photo iPod linux distros should work, but i'm not sure. Anyone out there who can help me?

There is none, but AFAIK there may be one in development.

Ok, thats what I thought...I hope they get one done for the Video iPod. There are so many possabilities for it. This can be locked now.

ok, well heres an update!
Apparently theres a program that runs on 4G ipods and up. It's called Rockbox....and I must say. it's amazing! It has a Gameboy emulator built in, runs pretty fast too. Cool Built in games, and a decent playback of music......not to mention the cool themes available. This is a must try for anyone that has an iPod 4G and up! This is a WINDOWS ONLY INSTALL, so Mac/Linux users are left out....sorry. If anyone here has an iPod, check out Rockbox right away!

The G4 are greyscale so my themes wont work...sorry...and i just made a Windows Media Player theme....it took like an hour to make! I'll post a screenshot in a couple of minutes.

Its too bad that the iPod engineers didnt make a special feature in the iPod that somehow had a wireless card in it (that they would develop software for it later). You could use the internet on the iPod, I would LOOOVVEEE that, just becasuse interenet on my cell phone...sucks.

how would you type on an ipod? scroll around the keyboard and press select to enter a letter. I dunno man, it seems like it would be a waste of a feature. I know that i would never use it

Hell, look at the PSP web browser, its hard to type on that too, and there are so many people who think that is so awesome how you can get on the internet on it!

Ok, I need help! I really want a iPod to TV cable, but the ones from Apple cost 100 bucks

...and comes with a bunch of extra crap i dont want. So, i searched Google for a good 20 minutes and still no results! Does anyone know where i could get one of these cable? They must exist! Please Help!
