need new dc-dc convertor
i just found out my car adapter doesn't work anymore. TI dc-dc convetors get all distorted after playing for a while. so now i need to kjnow what everybody who used a dc-dc convertor/switching regulator used that worked (not a linear regulator). this isn't one of those "how do i get 3.3v?????" threads, i just need to know what works with an 8.4v battery

does it work well for you untilll the battery goes out? it got a little warm, maybe i'll just put it near the fan, that should help if that's the problem.
EDIT:it worked
not only does it not get distorted if i play to long, but now there aren't any of those waves going across the screen that were there before i gave it a fan. the car adapter was huge anyway, the TI one doesn't even stick up past the heat sinks (where the fan is, woohoo!)
