Abandoned projects
I know you all have a few, you took on some rediculously difficult task, and then realised how hard it really was, so you gave up. Or maybe there are just some projects you lost interest in. So share yours!
Some of mine-
XboX softmod
PS1 parralell port controller
mini PSX into PSone case
learning japanese
If you actually got some good progress in, then let's see some pics too!

possibly one of the hardest projects i failed was trying to clean my room
. other than that i tried to teach myself C++ unsuccessfully but that kinda doesn't really count because i'm taking a semester of it in school next year. other than that i don't really fail much stuff, though that may possibly but improbably changed if i fail trying to connect a genesis controller to my parrallel port when i get around to it

Atari 2600, I got to the video mod and then things when down hill and lost interest.
NOAC, once I can solder to a trace I kind of broke I'll be able to finish it.
PSone, couldn't get the video to show on the Hip Screen and so it's on the back burner.
N64... disasembled. I really should just wire up power and see if it still works, after all that's what the game was for that I bought.
C64 DTV, well really nothing been done, I'm waiting for a compactflash > disk drive adapter. Once I get that I plan to install it in the Commodore64 case I've got.

I am a geek.
There are a bunch of things I'd love to do involving electronics and crap, but my money will be better spend on other things. Like, instead of an arcade cab, I'm getting an iPod and a 19" LCD.

Well let's see I tried to build a VCS portable by chooping up a Jr. MOBO and wiring it back together in order to fold it over so it would fit in my case.
I quit that project because the video was all off and I could never get it fixed, my NOAC portable which is (or maybe was as I've needed to borrow parts from it many times) all done technicly but will never have a case because I stink at case building (maybe some day when I find the right size project box, or maybe not
) other than that, I have one or two game maker projects that never realy made it to the finishline, and that time I tried to learn C++, oh and of course more Command and Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour mods than I can remember that I half finished and then either ruined, lost or simply forgot about (C&C:G is a pain to mod because it takes for ever to load
). Oh well that's my ramble.... which I can ad to the list since I know there's stuff I forgot
