Tiny RGB Screen?
At a very low price!

Too bad its so small, but it looks like it has ~okay~ quality.

Although that is a screen, you guys need to learn to read bit more thoroughly. It's $20 USD for the SCREEN. It's $40 USD for the screen/mobo.
Although that IS extremely small if you ever needed it.
But in the end it costs as much as a PS1 screen. Maybe you could find one on ebay?

Dunno if that means anything to anyone.We are now getting some strange questions from the masses. This is an add-on for micros, (including PC's) not a stand alone unit. If you can't program micro-controllers then you probably won't be able to use this device.

original SNES does (and the mini, with modification).
the PS2 and Xbox do, and the GC can with some modification...but if you're gonna portablize one of the systems, I believe RGB on a 5" screen would be better than on a 1.5" one

Theoetically, you could program a PIC16f877 to accept analog RGB + Csync and output digital RGB. It however would have to do the heavyweight image cropping/resizing (I think this chip goes up to 40MHz?)

The LCD in a VG Pocket Max (Must be the Max version) is a 2.5" analog RGB LCD. I saw them for $35 2 weeks ago, but that might have still been after XMas sale price, the MSRP is $45. Search the forums to find a basic pinout, unfortunately I know little about it's signal requirements, as my test equipment is extremely limited.

I've thought of an actual use for one of those screens!
I noticed my old camcorder has a 1 inch screen in the viewfinder and this is magnified through an eyepiece. So you could have a system that you look through an eyepiece to play. Or how about a game system you actually wear? The screen would have to be located in a central position in front of your eyes and you would have to have some well set up optics so you could see the screen without any double vision or maybe even use two screens?
Either way, it would need some sort of magnification. I would suspect a screen that size would be designed to be used with magnification so it doesn't show up lines etc.
