A Convention

Post by JackFrost22 »

I noticed that a lot of us were talking about the convntion ideas. So I thought kets make a topic. My biggest idea was that each of us get a both to show off our portables and sell our wares. We are going to have to wear name tags because we have never seen each other before.

We have a big on out in Castle rock for conventions. I'm sure a lot of spectators would come and probably buy if we did it there It's where evryone passes bye. :D Seriously it should probably be near Ben's if you guys want to do it since he started this whole thing.

Chicago isnt bad as long as you can get around, the streets there are like mazes. I wouldnt mind a conference (didnt we talk about this before?) as long as it isnt on one of the coasts. I live in the midwest I want to be able to go to at least on conference thats about an interest of mine without having to spend neatly 4 days driving to and from.

yeah, so I think it'd be best to agree on one central area. people can put up suggestions and then maybe Ben could create a poll here on this if he's interested.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Chicago would be nice and centralized, but I think it would probably be easier on everyone and less expensive to have it somewhere a little more "out of the way" - not in such a big city. Someplace like Ft. Wayne, IN., Springfield, IL or somewhere else in Southern Illinois or Indiana - like a suburb of Indianapolis. Or maybe Iowa - someplace like Davenport. Facility fees would be a lot less as would hotel fees.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow Daven Port! Been awhile sence I've been there. I cant see any problem with it being held in either IN. IL. or IA.. I'd suggests the area I live in but... lets say you have to travel another 15 minites north to feel completely safe (from things like shotings and stuff). As improbible as it sounds if we got more then 200 people to come out we could start thinking of Las Vegas. I know many of you are under 18 and blah blah, but the price of plane tickits and other things are almost rock bottem.
