WOW! This is mad but very cool! The game actually corresponds with the time i.e. the player on the right scores a point every minute but the player only gets a point every hour.

Wonder what other classic games you could use to tell the time?

Suppose they'd have to be two player head to head games like maybe a 2 player Breakout or something.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

I have a feeling it uses a base pong unit with composite out, an lcd, and a RTC IC witha a pic that sends the correspondent player controlls to the game. Could be (and probably am) wrong though :P

Why not just a RTC and a PIC? It's possible to generate a NTSC video signal with a simple pong image on a 10mhz PIC with some simple DAC circuitry.

Sounds like a good freetime project!

I know, but it'd be easier to use a prebuilt pong game and just send controll signals to it (In case anybody havn't noticed yet, I'm lazy :P)
