Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Need some help with PAL portable.

Post by Stooge »

I have finaly gathered a PSone screen but it is not official :( (thrustmaster)
Anyway now that I have some time, I was going to make my snesp. Ive done some reading up on connecting the video but apparently the pal version of the snes doesn't give a dedicated C-sync line, which would mean makeing a sync stripping circut but the playstation also doesn't give a dedcated C-sync line so if my PSone screen uses RGB (which I hope it does) then it should have to include a sync stripping circut somewhere saveing me a little money and a lot of time. So my question is will this work or not?

Well I say hook the video up to the video out lines on the snes, and put them directly to the video in lines on the ps1, and see if it works. It wouldn't fry anything if it doesn't
(I wouldn't think)
Hey, sup?

no, it wouldnt fry anything with an LCD screen (although you can do some damage to the picture tube with a CRT, not that you would use a CRT in a portable :D )
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

Please don't bring up threads that are over a month old.
