Need Help!

Ok I was playing ps2 and the dog triped over the controler cord

which was heart braking since it seemed to take the ps2 an hour to hit the ground lol Well now I have to hit reset like a kagillion times before it will play a game(I tried it with rf2 and socom 2)Is there any thing I can do to fix it Its a fat one and Ive had it for like ever! Please help If it die I will start having withdraws and die to

I cant think of anything execept clean the laser and make sure all the key components inside your PS2 are intact

Does this mean I have to open the case to clean the laser?I have to get it working good again if I go without socom I WILL DIE!

its really easy to open up...so if u have to do it....i think a cable has come loose....the reset and power board may have been damaged, the ribon cable sux.....it may have poped out. But, yeah, open it up and do everything you can. To clean the laser, buy one of those laser cleaner cd things....there like 10-20 bucks at Wal-Mart or any place that sells electronics, maybe Blockbuster.

if the PS2 has a blinking red reset button that doesnt stop even when pushed or a blue button doesnt shine. THATS A BIG PROBLEM!!!!!

mine did that (after trying to mod chip-it) and I had to get a new one FROM CHINA!!!!! P.S. fat import PS2's suck!(Well....mine does)

my blue light is not on anymore and my ps2 runs just fine. I think the led is toast somehow.
