Can I make a GBA SP for only $30.

From what I see, if I buy a case, screen, and logic board, I have a GBA:SP. Is this possible to you know...buy separate parts and put them together for this. Nevertheless, would I need anything else.

lol, but yea, you could buy the seperate parts but it would cost about twice what a new one would, unless you buy broken ones and cobble it together

you can get extra SP batteries at walmart or meijer or other places.

Do you mean buy all the chips and porgram the firmware or get a GBA SP board and attach everything else?

If you mean make your own you will need:

Screen
Buttons (D-pad, A, B, Start, Select, L, R, On, Volume, Backlight)
Case
Battery
Charger
Headphone jack (or crap-o-jack as on the SP)
Breadboard
Hundreds of chips and resistors and crap (very important part right here)
A copy of the SP firmware
Cart Slot
Converter to use non GBA screen
Speaker board
Speaker

And ya thats about it. Heres a Pic of a normal GBA board, you would have a good 2 months of just figureing out what you would need.

It's not compleetly imposible...
