help!!!!

My snesp is done, but for a second i had a problem. I fixed the problem inside and now i have created another problem i cant fix :evil: well here is what it is: the ps1 screen is really dark and choppy near the top of the screen (about a half inch from the top to the top) i cant figure out what the problem is!! please help (ps the ribbon cable is secure i already checked that first)

this is just a possibility but the back light could be going out or b this could be a low voltage problem this happend to my when my battts were about to die.
