how to mount all on the same cd

im tryin to mount a .ccd a .cue a.img and a .sub all on the same cd ive tyed alchohal 120% it wont let me do all of them.

huh? Are they already on the CD and you're just trying to mount them with a virtual drive, or are you trying to burn all the images onto one disk?

I always thought that a .ccd file was just an image that linked to the other files so that was the only one that needed to be mounted.

Wait, trying to mount on the same cd or burn on the same cd? Because if you are trying to mount them you need Daemon tools, fairly simple, and creates virtual CD drives.

Ok bucko, here is a quick crash course on Disc Images.

a CUE file tells the system how to put a BIN and SUB file together as one disc. Thats used a lot on discs that have both audio and data

a CCD file is for a program called Clone CD. Thats the information file that tells the program how to write the CD back to disc. Its kinda like a Cue Sheet.

IMG is the Main Channel data of a Clone CD image.
BIN is usually a raw binary copy of the CD
SUB is CloneCD Sub-Channel data

You can use a program called ISOBuster to view the contets of the image if need be.

Mount the CUE file in 120%. If it fails, open the CUE in notepad and make sure the path names to the BIN file are correct (I dont mean C:\Windows\Desktop\My illegal PSX games\File.bin. It should be \file.bin)

If that doesnt work, try and mount the CCD.

If that doesnt work, try and load the CCD file into ISO buster and try to create a CUE-Sheet file from there, or just mount the IMG or BIN without the cue.

IF THAT STILL DOESNT WORK!!! Use Daemon Tools Virtual CD/DVD rom.

If you STILL cant get it to work, let me know what kind of disc image you are trying to mount (something tells me its an old PSX game, since thats the only disc structure that needs SUB-Data.). Weather its PC, MAC, PSX, Dreamcast ECT... knowing what kind of disc image will tell you what kind of settings you need to input it. If anything, PM me, cause if it doesnt work after you try the info from this post, its gonna be a LONG tutorial on the different types of file systems, data modes, ISO modes ECT...

When it comes to disc images and what not, i know my stuff.... ive been into making backups since the ol' PSX days, and i havent stopped yet.

Typicly you only have two files for burning a disc image. The .cue/.cdd and the .img/.bin/.sub having all those will only confuse the program or computer.

Yeah, its odd that you have all of those file types together. Daemon Tools Virtual CD/DVD will let'cha mount them all.
