Hey guys...I've been visiting these forums for awhile now, but only recently created an account. Anyway...I've decided to try and make a portable Gamecube, and I'm pretty sure I have most of the parts I'm going to need. I don't suppose anyone has written any sort of guide for this have they? I have no idea exactly where pinouts are located, of if there happens to be the same kind on crazy power issues the N64 is famous for (i.e. need for a DC-DC converter). Thanks.
Well, if you are attempting a GCp, this thread is your friend. All the info you need is there, and, sadly, no one has written a full-length how-to yet, but Gamelver is making one soon.
"I like my coffee like I like my women. In a plastic cup."
and about that GCp guide....er.....well, let's just I'm REALLY, REALLY busy right now.....I've got so much stuff to do.....so no guide 'till next year!! well, from me anyway .
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
Thanks for linking those other threads. I guess I'll just have to reference those, and bide my time until Gamelver finds time to write up that guide. Hummm...maybe I'll put off the GCp for a little bit, and focus on the portable N64...Nah...
If it ain't broke...rip it open to see how it works!
i can make a guide......for gamecube. I have all the parts and since im making a GCp. it will have pictures too. If no-one else is going to make one, tell me and i'll start.
Or as I was hoping Gamelver could use his Christmas vacation to good use, and finish that damn guide he promised over 6 months ago!

er, I would be, if I didn't use it for finishing two GCps ....when those are done, I'll get to work, since I'm busy enough as it is with these two GCps, along with other stuff....I was actually just about to go get some Bondo right now for them .

Well, it needs to be fixed up a bit, so i was gonna let people see it and tell me if i need to fix stuff. I just started part 2 of the guide. (i made two parts, the first talks about everything up to soldering and pinouts and part two continues it and goes to finiished products)
