Hello All, I am building a 4 switch portable, after much cutting, soldering, cursing, resoldering etc., I decided to give it a test run on an old b&w tv. Once everything is connected and turned on, I get about 3-5 seconds of good video then it looks like the screen is smeared from bottom to top then....nothing until I turn it (the Atari) off then back on again. I have tried varying the resistance (no more than 10%) on all leads from the mixer but, same thing every time. Any ideas?? (I have tried 3 different tvs)
The new guy
Video craps out after 3-5 seconds (new video mod)

and another thing...
Also, the voltage from the composite video out drops from .35vdc to .30vdc. Is this what it is supposed to do? I know this mod was designed for portable LCD screens but shouldn't a standard tv still pick it up? Or, am I just an uninformed noob who needs to do some more homework?
