Hi.I'm gonna try to make a Atari 2600 P for my mom for Christmas(she likes Pacman and Pong :P ).I'm going to try to get a atari 2600 later this week,and i have a working Psone screen.Could someone tell me how on earth to do this?(Preferably with lots of pictures.) :D

IIRC Ben couldn't use the Atari composite mod with the PSone screen, supposedly because the signal was too weak. That's why he uses pocket tv screens. You might check out the Atari Classics 10-in 1 things, they'd work much better (if they have the games your mom wants.)

Could i put a cartridge slot on those?(like with those Radica/Genesis thingys)

you can't put a cart slot on a 10 in one thing, though you can on a Flashback 2.0. I'd stick with a 4-switcher, though. Ben has a new video mod somewhere on his book site, which he says works with a PSOne screen.

Okay,I'm trying to semi-follow the book,so i'll use a 4 switch.What about batteries,though?What kind is easyest and cheapest?

If i were you, i would just use one of those connect to tv things....those have pac man and stuff on them

Those are garbage. You cant play anyother games if you use those.

It's for his mom though. Maybe all she wants to play anyways is the Pacman and the pong and doesn't care about being able to play cartrages.

I've been looking around on some electronics sites and i can't find the right resistors,so i think i'll try to put a cartridge slot on a Flashback 2.0.How exactly do i do this? :)

Buy Ben's book, he has a new video mod in it that does work with a PSone screen. Also I dont know if anyone has tried to connect a Flashback 2.0 to a PSone screen or not but it should work, as the Flashback 2.0 outputs composite natively (unlike the original Ataris).
