Backlight issues

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Backlight issues

Hi,
I have my PSone lcd to accept RCA cables, and its working except for the backlight. The tube comes on initially, but cuts off. You can see images still on the lcd, but with no backlight.
Any ideas?

LED mod would fix it

might be a bad ccfl or even a bad inverter.
