knoppix livecd DVD burning issues

how do i access my windows network from knoppix program k3b? I hooked up the dvd drive to my knoppix box, but i can't see the network from within k3b to select an image to burn with. It said something about lisa, I ran that and it came up with that computer alone on the network. But using the Samba network neighborhood shows the whole network. (I can't copy+paste the image because there is no hd, and there is only 644MB ram)
