Free systems. BS or real?

Post by HomicidalBarber »

Hey I remembered reading in a popular science magazine and they tried to get a free Xbox without paying anything. And they did manage to do it, but very carefully. (As in cancelling all free offers and not spamming friends).
Has anyone here managed to pull that off? Seeing some peoples signitures and how it says help me get a free Xbox or something. It would be cool if we all set up spam accounts and referred eachother to web sites and totally exploited the system. Later.

Sure, it's possible, but you'll get spammed up the arse.

I believe a lot of those things are pyramid schemes, really. :|

yeah you are right about that, for sure. All the money comes from the advertisements. Its possible, but tough to make it cost nothing from what I hear.

Try to avoid conga lines, which are Pyramid schemes and therefor impossible. So long as you have lots of slow friends, you can get it to work

Yes its possible to do this but its very hard in the end you and your friends are paying for the systems most of the time. Making up fake names and credit card numbers is illegal and they have your adress and credit info so really it could be easy to get screwed over on a deal like this.

It's probably easier to get a second (or first :) ) job and save the money up.
