Hello,

Can anyone tell from this picture if this is an Intellevision on a chip or just one of those emulations? Thanks guys.

The game systems were designed and manufactured by Techno Source Ltd. The Intellivision games were ported to the systems by the company's programmers. Adapting to the systems required some games to be modified, but the programmers worked with the original source code to keep them as close as possible to the look and feel of the classic games.

actually, from what I've seen on the store's demo unit, they're not even very good ports.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does the quote below mean I can use it to play nintendo games (if I wire in a cartridge slot)?

No. The hardware in the controllers is based on the classic Nintendo game system. The games have been reprogrammed for the hardware

I wish I knew. Looking at your picture, it's hard to tell if it is even some form of NOAC--it almost certainly is, but I don't know how complete it's NES support is, or where to start wiring the cart slot. But at least it's easy to solder to.

I'd probably recommend spending the ~$10 on a NOAC with a proper slot for that type of project. it will save you way more than $10 worth of time, and you'd know it would work before you started.

Let me see the other side of the board. If theres a glop top, a normal super-joy-fun-ultra-player-of-doom is probably a better choce for a nesp. If ther isnt it means that the noac is on a nice little pcb.

Nah, there must be two roms chips then. The black blobs on the other side would be the noac. So a normal super-fun-player or whater would be better.

Probably, but you'de have to get the pinout right... The fact theres a huge amount of combinations dosnt help...
