I've used duct tape to make band-aids before, it's not all that painful.
Just put a large piece of non-stick bandage over the cut and put a thin strip of duct tape over it to hold it in place. I did it once during a hike in the woods behind the school during Biology class.

Too bad Band-aids are not made out of duct tape. I havent used it to make a bandage, I either got to a typical one shortly or just bleed until I get to a bandage. I'd just want a high quaility water proof band-aid, if I get a cut on my palm my sweat makes the band-aid fall off after like an hour.
Just image how cool it would be to have duct tape band-aid sold every were. You know they'd be used by every geek, and fans of the Red Green Show.

) for bandaids sometimes if I have it handy and can't find a real one. Liquid skin is also pretty good. Stings like hell when you first put it on though.-
