PowerJoy "Supermax" only $10 at some biglots

Post by shiett3 »

The Biglots in the greater Cincinnati area have PowerJoys complete in box for $9.99. Check at www.biglots.com for the sale ad for your area to see if they have any outside this area.

Comes with two carts with "90 games" :)

I used to have one of those. They're fairly nice, but have a controller board built into the noac, so the mobo is ~5"x2" IIRC. I think I might've said the dimmensions on my nesp page...

$9.99--it's only 2 blocks away...
BRB

(though it isn't as nice as my stealth-black russian famicom from there)

edit: they don't even have them. all they have are EA sports 1-player and some generic casino game collection. I want my two-player Top Gun!

Thanks for letting me know about that, it will probably be my next project after the n64 is done. Anyone know what the difference is between the different shell styles?

I just got the "navigator"

oddly it has *NO* pirated games--all 50 seem to be HKOs (though I haven't played the sports games). One neat one is "finger DDR"--featuring a ddr clone featuring the stolen song 'butterfly' from the early DDR games. There seems to be no scoring, or way to lose, but what do you expect for $10?

they're not built-ins--separate 60-pin cart. they put the cart slot in kind of a silly location (out the side) and if you bump it with your knee, the games freeze.
