Folding Over Mobos

Is this actually possible, I mean, we could fold over a Nano-ITX mobo and it's only 2x4! Is this possible and fesiable? Please tell me

Because the traces can be a hair's width across and just as far apart. And there's probably hudreds, if not thousands, of points you'd have to solder.

also, there are probably traces inside the motherboard, not just on top and on the bottom.

All motherboards (excluding perhaps uber-ancient ones) have many layers of traces sandwhiched on top of each other. As bicostp said, soldering to these traces would be impossible. The motherboard material would smolder long before you could bend it if you heated it up. You're better off buying a 3.5" x 5.7" mobo if you want to go as small as possible.

well... if the board is made on a flexpcb (which is made to be flexible like a ribbon {hence the title})
