does any one have TI "pocket computers"

there calculators, but since you can program stuff on them there technicaly computers. I have one its a TI-89 there really easy to program stuff on them and you can cheat on math tests with them

actually im in junior but im not going to be doing anything with math after college im going to be a translator or something of that sort

Exactly, a junior there are 0 carreer's that dont use math. Or you wont use in real life.

My old teacher had a poster showing a bunch of different jobs and the math skills you needed in them. Almost every single one had 2 math skills checked.

i never pay attention but get good marks cos the day before the exam i switch to sponge mode and i absorb all the required info.

TI-83 is standard at our school pretty much, the user guide usually talks a little about programming and all of the commands are pretty general too. By the way has anyone tried a ZX Spectrum Emulator for a TI calculator? There is one on zophar.net
