To help you learn what's concidered "spam", should I put the Mr. Mackey Spam Emblem on the applicable posts?

As far as a GIF maker goes, get The Gimp. www.gimp.org I recommend you get them animation pack and the GiMPshop mod. After installing everything, you'll have the approximate equivelant of Photoshop and ImageReady.
