So I'm working with a Super Joy 3 and I need to know how to switch the 2nd controller port from the 'Genisis-Ripoff' input to an NES input. Also, keep in mind I'm VERY new at making portables. So speak specifically and cleary...as if I was retarted. Haha. If you have pics, that helps!
thanks!

You don't have to remove the normal player 1 control/power/AV out/ board. You can simply solder the player 2 plug to the right pins. Heck, if you don't want to mod the SJ3, you could just make a converter for the normal P2 plug to a P2 NES plug. I have the pinout for the player 2 SJ3 plug if you want it.
Not sure about the Game Axe question
Are you putting it in a Game Axe?

Sorry for the confusion, G-force. In a nutshell:
I'm trying to make a small nes out of the guts of a super joy. (I'm going to put it into a old VHS hard case) I'm going to run it off of the built in DC in and the AV in. BUT! I want to be able to have two nes controller inputs and keep the built in games. You have already shown me how to make the 1st player input...but how do I get a second? Also, where exactly are the built in games stored?

Just look at the Super Joy pic again, the pinouts for player 1 and 2 are on there. Also, the built-in games are in a glop-top on the board, if you connect the cartridge slot so that it bridges certain pins when a cart is inserted, the built-in games will be disabled automatically when the cart is inserted. Remove the cart and the built-in games take over.
