Portable Screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Any A/V cord will work. Solder all the outside wires to ground and the inside wire to the right pins. like yellow to composite out etc.

if I recall it had a separate composite-in that was on a stereo mini-plug. but it's been so long since mine was intact, I may be confusing it with another screen.

I do think it's still better to cut the bottom portion off and hook directly to the screen mainboard.

I know a book with all kinds of simple instructions and clear pictures of how to do that one

if you buy a psone or hipgear screen just hook all the pins that say composite up to the ones on your console that are also composite, then put power in to bouth its vary eazy!!! the hip gear screens come with a controller, a cord that plugs in to your controller the AV port on what ever console its suposed to go to and a power cord.. your going to have to cut away the controller and in put your own power and video so you wont need to worrie about the cords it comes with k?
