Games using the L button
Is there any N64 game that uses the L button? Is there even a game that uses the R button?

A few wrestling games use it, in Smash Bros. it's the special power up button (or so I have been told), and Mortal Kombat Gold uses it. There might be more but thaose are the only ones I know of.
R is definetly needed. Almost every game uses it for something.
My soon to be finished GM64 (or whatever its gonna be called...) is not gonna have an L button or a D-pad. It just seems kinda silly to add all that for how little its used (and theres no room on the case). Besides, a portable is not made to be a home console replacement, more like an add-on.

In Super Smash Bros. you use the L button to taunt.G-force wrote:A few wrestling games use it, in Smash Bros. it's the special power up button (or so I have been told), and Mortal Kombat Gold uses it. There might be more but thaose are the only ones I know of.
Other games I know its used in:
Tony Hawk (all of em)
Harvest Moon 64 (turn camera)
Pokemon Stadium (mini games)
Star Fox 64 (to roll)
Thats all I know for sure, and the L&R buttons are connected by 2 wires... why not just extend em and relocate?
Current Status: Single and Portableless.

well you could, but you'd have to find some sort of way to mkae sure it require a fiar bit of pressure to push it, if you didnt ur analog stick would be all wobbly and the button would go off when in ues(most likely). overall its not really a practical idea(although it would save space)wallydawg wrote:I'm thinking of putting the z-button inside the analog pad, a la playstation controllers (if this is even possible, just an idea really).
