Project log: Gb, Gbc carts to ds
well, I don't have the pics yet, but I will in about too hours beucase I have to charge the camera, anyway, I don't think many of you noticed but the gba carts have too notches on both sides of the cart, I belive only these are the only things that are preventing the gb and gbc carts from entering the ds, maybe the pins are diffrent I don't know, but I would like to ask one of you who has an extra cart or a game you don't care about, to look at a gba cart and at the same time file down either a gb or gbc cart to look and be like a gba cart and try and fit it into the ds

if you would like to donate to my ps2p portable pm me
The DS lacks the processor to play GB(C) games. This has been said here before, and at every other site that mentions NDS, however briefly.

It's funny how Sony's PSP can play GameBoy games, but an official Nintendo machine cannot.

If you go down the road. The DS can also emulate GBO.Conn wrote:The PSP runs GB games via hacking and using an emulator. Otherwise, no, it cannot.bicostp wrote:It's funny how Sony's PSP can play GameBoy games, but an official Nintendo machine cannot.

Big shock there, I'm surprised they could fit the arm7 in there alone, nevermind the GBO one (whatever its called, I dont remember, dont care to remember).

Well that's just crap then! Who wants a Game Boy that won't play Super Mario World... I think I might try side lighting my GBA with LED's...goodie wrote:On a somewhat related note, the Gameboy Micro won't be supporting GB and GBC games either...Looks like I'll need to rig up something like the Miracle Ray, if I want to be able to play GB and GBC games on a backlit(rather than frontlit) screen.

Well my point is that at this point it's possible, one way or another, to run GB games on the PSP, not so on the DS.Conn wrote:The PSP runs GB games via hacking and using an emulator.
