7.5v ac adaptor for slim ps2??

is it ok to use the ac adaptor from the ps1 lcd screen (7.5v) to power the slim ps2 which requires only 1 more volt, (8.5v)??

Unfortunately, no. It will not have enough voltage. It IS ok to power the PSone screen from the 8.5v adapter that comes with the PStwo. The PSone screen can take up to 9v.
