So heres you go:
Get a printer cable that you arent using. If this dont work for you, you would not have any loss. I got one that plugs into your computer, and just Extends the pins. (not the one that goes directly into the printer, I havent tried those. I will try them out tonight.)
Then cut off the wires from the plug Very close to the plug. the closer you do it, the longer the wires you can get.Take a look at the ends of the freshly cut wires. If you see a lot, you're in luck. Then take a pair of scissors and cut off all of the insulation. This may take a while if you take your time and be careful.
Then scrunch together all of the metal foiling on the outside so that it slips off easilly. Then inside that, you should have a LOT of incredibly small wires. They may come wound into pairs, but i pulled mine apart.
If you want, you can cut em in half and have 2x the wires! i also did that.
and there you go! It saves costs, and it will give you more room in portables.
Try it out and see what you get!

The same thing goes for Cat-5, Cat-5e, and telephone cables!

Sorry to bring this up, I just used the search first, and I found my old one!
oh, and the point. I just cut up a 10.25' yes 10.25 feet of printer cable. The cable was a little less than 2 of my body heights! So I cut it open and have 19 wires that are really small and are 10 feet long! See what you can find!
