Theme Parks Suck

Post by Unidentified Assilant »

I just went to Alton Towers with a school trip, and it pretty much sucked, all the rides I couldn't go on, because of my heart conditions, and it cost me £5 for a freakin hot dog? This may be spam but I am letting out my anger.

well... when I was in Britain it cost me £5 for a small piece of carrot cake....
My most expensive lunch (a cheeseburger and chips) was around $20 U.S.

well, in this case it's a pound. there is about $1.80 in a pound, so he's spending about $9 on a hot dog.

I'll agree, Cedar Point charges a lot for pop. Though to be honest its really only from the machines by the rides, a 20-24 oz. is $3. Last time I was there I was sure to bring my own pop.

Also I'm not too suprised at the idea of heavey charges for anything over in England or Europe. They tax the hell out of everything!

What about movie theatres? You pay more for a soda than your ticket, and then if you want popcorn and candy...

At a zoo I went to It cost like $2.50 for a soda at the movies I get food there but also sneak in my own food one time I snuck in two sodas a bag of caramel creams and a big bag of m&ms I am the master at sneaking food into places. Ofcourse it was the winter time so I had my big coat to help me hide some of the stuff.
