BC639

Post by Kai »

Hi
I build a videoamplifier using a BC639 instead of a 2N4401 I tested it on my TV the white texture in super mario bros. is not displayed and it's not flickering but I don't know how to describe it's like waves wich move and the waves are darker and lighter I don't think that's normal is it???
Has any one used another Transistor than the 2N4401 (I can't get a 2N4401 in germany) or could someone tell me where to get a 2N4401 in germany.

well....i'm new here and was just looking through the previous posts and saw this, i guess it's kind of late. But anyway, you can replace the 4401 with a 2N2222A transistor, which is pretty common. I found it works better if you dont use the 220 ohm resistor on the collector going to +5v
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.
