So, after poking around on the forums, not really posting, I was intrigued about the radica; more accurately, ben's exodus. Well, I was able to procure a cheap radica, a screen, and a broken genesis (for the slot), but of course the screen was really tiny, and had no way of obtaining composite video. Note to all of you, never buy a used casio tv-480. Well, in light of that mishap, I opened up the radica, and started messing around with it. I carved the controller into 4 parts (d-pad, abc, start, and the glop-top), and soldered wire to the leads. The controller works fine. I ordered a new screen; one of those car lcds, that I shall be using. I'm also gonna take take the cartridge slot out of the broken genesis and wire it up to the removed radica rom (I may reuse the rom, too. hmm). The old Casio wasn't a complete waste, as I got a speaker out of the deal. So, I'm gonna build one of those lm386 amps, hook her up, and put everything together in a custom-made, vacuum-formed box.
