I enjoyed Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

first one's a great game--and under $20. second one is just okay...and costs more...

it's a 3rd-person action RPG--which I generally don't like. But you can pause (or autopause) as much as you feel you need to, to issue commands. Even if you tell them nothing, your party will attack pretty well without your help--they won't just stand there waiting to die.

very nice plot, with a heafty 'OMG' moment in the middle.
I won't give it away, because then the first game would suck as bad as the second one.

you heard wrong on fable...
I think 30 minutes was the longest I could stand that game. I attempted several sittings... The Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance games are far better action-RPGs. Not that I like action-RPGs...

Forza's pretty good--for an attempt at a realistic simulation.
Burnout 3 is addictive like crack...I really feel guilty for liking that game...
Lego Star Wars--go ahead and laugh at me for that one...

But really what the xbox is good at is emulation. I'm always after turn-based strategy and RPGs--they stress me less. I don't think they make either anymore. Give me xcom on my dos emu over any xbox game any day.

why would we laugh? that's a great game :)!!!
and for all your star wars needs, look no further than Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Battlefront, and the Ep. III game :).

I thought fable was pretty fun, actually :)...it didn't live up to the hype, but it's still a pretty good game :).
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Destroy all Humans is AWESOME, but it's 50 dollars! Go and buy yourself mechassault.
And then the first human typed up '1337'. Faith in humanity soon plummited.

Burnout 3 is a must have if you like arcade racing games, not to mention its less then $20 now, if you play Forza and Burnout 3, Forza is just plain boring.

Mechassult gets kinda repeatative after awhile.

Fable is a pretty good quality game, kinda short, but good.

Ninja Gaiden... the smoothest ninja hack n' slash game every created by man.

Halo and Halo 2 are pretty decent FPS's, especially Halo 2 online.

People generally dont like it when you bring up 2 month old questions for three words. Its good to read old threads, and get the information, but dont bring that stuff back.
