How do I hardwire the PSone screen directly to the mb
Please does anyone know how???
screen name? brand? designed for which system...
what mobo from what system?...
heres my general explanation for wiring any screen to any mobo...
1) plug the wires in and go...
on a more serious note, juss shorten the A/V cable and plug it into the existing port (easy), and if the plastic coverings are removed around the ports (male and female) it doesnt take up much space. then take the male heads off the cables and directly solder them into the corresponding places on the screen.

Ok I had to do this because I friged up my board.
Anyways. Go get a pinout of whatever system your gonna use. Say PSOne for example. Get the pinout for the PSOne screen at the top of this fourm and look for similaritys.
You are gonna want to use the least amount of connections since the screen can be a bit fussy.
On mine I have a wire running from my mobo to: Power, Ground, Red, Green, Blue, Video Sync (I think), Video Ground, (Left, Right and Switch for headphones tide together unless used) and Left and Right Audio.
This eliminates any problems with random wires touching.
What I did was just cut all the wires in the cable that goes to the screen, attached the wires with a little solder and some tape and ran them through my screen to the mobo.
Give them lots of leway coming out of the screen, you might need it.
