Snes games on a PS2

Post by G-Prime »

Today I was looking around a few torrent sites for some anime goodness and stumbeled across this file. It is an emulator and 500 snes games that you burn to a cd and play on your PS2. This is good because if you make a PS2P you get 2 systems in 1. The only problem with this is that your ps2 needs to be chipped.

snes-station's home page is http://snes-station.gamebase.ca that would probuley be the best place to get it from and make your own disk image useing the roms you already have

and there are outher ways to run homebrew stuff on a ps2 without installing a modchip

there are also outher ps2 emutaters for NES Genisis neo cd GB wonderswan Atari 2600, PC-Engine/Turbo-Grafix 16 NeoGeo Pocket Sega Master System GameGear to name a few

What about emulators on the PSone? I know the system doesn't have the fastest components, but it seems to look a lot easier to portablize than a PS2.

There was an NES one for PSOne, but it ran very very poorly.

Ugg, I figured as much. Oh well ~_~ I need to try to find me a Snes-On-A-Chip, if they even exist. I've heard mention of 'pirate Snes's' on different threads, which supposedly use SNOACs.

I tried it a few years ago. If it is as good as you say, they must have totally re-done it. Because the one I played was terrible.
