Design ideas for my NESp

Post by totokan »

Ok, so it's not really a NESp.
I'm making a helmet sort of thing, and i have a fewdifferent ideas on what it could look like:
-the fake nintendo ON
-Samus' helmet
-alien head
-Plain black
Any other ideas/which one you like best?
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

I've always been a metroid fan...helmet sets can be tricky though...how do you plan on executing this idea of yours?

yah.
Oh, and I'm taking an old 'virtual reality racing' game helmet and replacing the screen it has (which is a useless hunk of junk) with the tv glasses (and than of course painting it). the reason i said it's not exactly a NESp is because it's to big and heavy to use anywhere but home. I was going to make it a dreamcast, but thats way to hard to do.

Just have some A/V-in plugs and it can be whatever you want it to be.

I'd likely base it on Protoman's helmet...
Warranty-Voiding fun!

Never thought of that, MM007. But which one? original MM or MMBN?.
I will be adding a/v in ports, but the NES will be built-in (a NOAC, duh). I wanted it to run off the original systems battery pack, but that doesn't provide enough power. It could run off of 3 or 4 D's, on a belt clip in between the helmet and the controller (like the original wiring from the helmet).

if you're going to make a suggestion, can you please have links to pics? You don't need to, but it would be helpful if you do.
